Kenton

Services for Betty J. Ludwig will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Brad Ellis. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.
She died at 12:19 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2008 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1920 in McGuffey to Samuel and Minnie (Keller) Hunsicker. On July 9, 1939, she married Gerald W. Ludwig and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Karen S. (Jerry) Williams of Litiitz, Pa. and Teresa L. (Craig) Shilling of Dublin; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Lois Crawford of Belle Center.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She worked on a farm with her husband and was a teacher with the Kenton City Schools for 25 years.
She graduated from Dola High School and the Ohio Northern University.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kenton; the Hardin County Farm Bureau; Hardin County Retired Teachers; the Zetetie Club and was a life member of Ohio Retired Teachers.

Mable Lucile, 101
Rushsylvania

Services for Mable Lucile Sloan will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Rushsylvania by Pastors Bonnie Frost, Joshua Johnson and Lloyd Ferguson. Burial will be in the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
She died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Logan Acres.
She was born Dec. 19, 1906 in Logan County, to Samuel and Anna Belle (Winner) LeVally. She married Roy Sloan, who preceded her in death on April 11, 1960.
Surviving are three sisters, Marjorie Amerine of Springfield, Esther Brugler of Bellefontaine and Alice Marker of Spencer, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Frankie Sloan of Brown Summit, N.C.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Robert Sloan; two brothers, Glen and Robert LeVally; two sisters, Fern Smith and Mary Patrick and a grandson-in-law.
She was postmaster at the Rushsylvania Post Office and retired after 38 years of service.
She was a member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women’s Society.
She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School.

Wolfley

Milford
Formerly of Ada

Services for Jean Wolfley will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor John Hall. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Ada.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and until the time of the service on Tuesday.
She died at 7:40 a.m. at the Arbors in Milford.
She was born March 18, 1929 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Isaac and Mahala (Neeley) Fitzpatrick. In June, 1950, she married Harold "Bud" Wolfley and he preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1974.
Surviving are a daughter, DeNita Rohrbacher of Milford; three brothers, Robert (Martha) Fitzpatrick of Newark, New York, Joe F. (Betty) Fitzpatrick of Alger and Cletis Fitzpatrick of Lima; two sisters, Darlene (Roger) Tarr of Ada and Marge (Fred) Runser of St. Joe, Michigan; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two step-daughters, Janice Kissling and Joyce Van Atta; two brothers, Eddie and Woodrow Fitzpatrick and a sister, Maxine Hamilton.
She had previously worked as the clerk for the Ada-Liberty EMS.
She especially enjoyed attending her daughter’s children’s Haley and Clay, dancing and sporting events.
