Services for Byron M. Cummins will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield by the Rev. Kathleen Hayes. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
He died at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Auglaize Acres.
He was born Nov. 17, 1912, in New Hampshire to Arthur and Nellie (Van Horn) Cummins. On June 2, 1946, he married Dorothy E. Butler in New Hampshire and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are three sons, Merritt (Lisa) Cummins of LaCrescenta, Calif., Lilburn (Sharon) Cummins of Wapakoneta, Donald (Karen) Cummins of Cridersville; a daughter, Nancy Buettner of Lima; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was a 1939 graduate of Waynesfield High School and retired after 32 years as custodian of Waynesfield-Goshen Schools.
He was a member of the Waynesfield United Methodist Church.

Upper Sandusky

Services for Frank D. Howard Pryor will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Charles Steward. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by various service organizations in Upper Sandusky.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
He died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
He was born June 4, 1931, in Wyandot County to Maurice Fleet and Nellie Dell (James) Pryor. On Jan. 15, 1955, he married Shirley Parsell in Hardin County and she survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Michael, Bruce, Jeff and Scott Pryor, all of Upper Sandusky and Ken Pryor of Sycamore; a daughter, Wanda Hoenicke of Upper Saundusky; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a brother, Joe Pryor of Marion.
He was preceded in death by a two brothers, Louis, Clarence and two infant brothers, Clifford and Charles; six sisters, Thelma Swihart, Lily Krites, Myrtle VanHorn, Ardenna Chance, Lucille Stansbery and Betty Laughrey.
He worked 27 years for Engineered Wire Products in Upper Sandusky as a wire drawer helper. Before that he worked for Reiser’s Fruit Farm and Freezer Queen, both in Wyandot County.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
