Services for Michael Dale Mundy will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey by Rev. Bobby Turner. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the Church.
He died Friday morning, May 9, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1955, in Hancock County to Kermit D. and Frances S. (McKenzie) Pope Mundy. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Carey. On Aug. 15, 1975, he married Linda Snelling and they were divorced.
Surviving are two sons, Mike Mundy of Fremont and Tim Gwinner of Tiffin; a daughter, Geanine Mundy of Fremont; three brothers, Lester Mundy of Chatfield, Dallas Mundy of Carey and Rick Mundy of Alger; two sisters, Sue Hensley and Judy Loftis, both of Chatfield and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest and Perry Mahan, Douglas and Danny Mundy and a sister, Mary Mayhan.
He was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey.
He worked as a laborer for Engineer Wire in Fostoria and High Quality Plastics in Findlay.
