Services for Wayne O. Frantz will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington by Pastor Harry Scott. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens with full military honors by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.
He died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday May 13, 2008, at Fox Run Manor, Findlay.
He was born in Gilboa on Feb. 16, 1927, to the late Orvie H. and Edna (Perkins) Frantz. He married E. Patricia "Pat" Grohoske on Oct. 4, 1946, in Arlington and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Wayne A. "Bub" (Karen E.) Frantz of Arlington and Jeffrey L. (Mary E.) Frantz of Dunkirk; a daughter, Pamela J. Frantz (Michael J.) Salsbury of Holgate; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Frantz and brothers James and Clayton Frantz.
He was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and former MYF Leader. He coached Little League Baseball for 15 years in Arlington, former Boy Scout Leader of Troop 318, Arlington, former member of Loyal Order of the Moose No 698 and Arlington Lions Club. He served on Arlington Village Council and Arlington Water Board for many years.
He was a retired auto mechanic, retiring in 1992 from Arlington Auto Service. He then drove a school bus for Arlington High School for seven years.

Services for Karl T. Zimmerman will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ada by the Rev. David Young. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery in Lima.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today.
He died at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Lost Creek Center in Lima.
He was born on April 10, 1938, in Lima to Carl W. and Magdalean (Kayser) Zimmerman. He first married Elsie Lou LaRue and she died in June of 1972. Later he married Janet Dora Marie Stephenson on May 5, 1973. She survives in Ada.
Also surviving is a daughter, Tammy (Ernest) Walters of Lima; two sons, Robert E. (Brenda) Zimmerman and Jonathan (Jessica) Zimmerman, both of Ada; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford (Amy) Zimmerman of Lima and two sisters, Lillian (Jack) Weyer of Bluffton and Betty Shimp of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Johns and a brother, Donald Zimmer-man.
He retired after 40 years from Ohio Northern Univer-sity in Ada where he worked as a custodian foreman in McIntosh Center.
He moved to Ada in 1973 and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Liberty Conservation Club in Ada.
