A memorial service for Robert L. Barnes will be 3 p.m. today at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington by Pastor Steve Ramsey. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Friends may call 1-3 p.m. today.
He died at 1:13 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born in Rocky Ridge on Jan. 6, 1936, to the late Raymond and Helen (Keller) Barnes. He married Dolores Ohm on Aug. 30, 1957, and she survives.
Also surviving are three children, Dan (Sheri) Barnes, Julie (Rick) Ernest, Anita (Garret) Lafferty; and seven grandchildren.
He retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company in 1997.

Memorial services for Myrtle Edna (Davis) Fulton will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Grant United Methodist Church.
She died at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at the Corinthian in Kenton.
She was born Aug. 6, 1908, in Rittman to Frank Nelson and Rosella (Farnwalt) Davis. On May 3, 1930, she married Harold D. Fulton in Wheeling, W.Va., and he died in April 1983.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Robert) High of Rockford; a sister, Jean (Richard) Smith of Wadsworth and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Ralph and Earl and two sisters, Leona and Marie.
She was a homemaker and a farm wife in Pleasant Township.
She belonged to Grant United Methodist Church, Asbury Ladies Society, Greenwood Grange and did volunteer work for the Ohio State University in Battle Creek, Mich. She also did volunteer work for the Hardin County Bloodmobile, Hardin County Hospital Guild, Pleasant Township voting district and delivered meals on wheels for the Hardin County Senior Citizens. She also placed the tuba with the Hardin County Senior Citizens music band.
Several years ago the Kenton Times did an article on her about her drawings of farm life.
Price Funeral Home, Kenton, is in charge of arrangements.
