Ada
Services for Gertrude M. Baughman will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Church of Christ, 4014 CR 330, Ada, by Pastor Harrison Underwood. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
She died at 4:58 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born May 3, 1924, in Meadville, Pa., to Paul and Louise (Bodich) Knierman and they are deceased. She married Earl F. Baughman on Jan. 28, 1946, and he survives in Ada.
Also surviving are five sons, Paul (Gloria) Baugh-man of Marengo, William (Elizabeth) Baughman of Walbridge, John (Susan) Baughman of Ada, Robert (Rita) Baughman of Nelson-ville and Ray (Rebecca) Baughman of Findlay; five daughters, Carol (Ken) Holt of Pittsburgh, Pa., Wanda Baughman of Ada, Mary (Dennis) Garrigan of Newfields, N.H., Nancy (Hal) Hardiesty of Frankfort and Jean Baughman of Ada; a brother, Fred (Shirley) Knierman of Erie, Pa.; five sisters, Katherine (Andrew) Mattis of Meadville, Pa., Pauline (Dale) Baker of Saegertown, Pa., Shirley (Hubert) Vogan of Cochran-ton, Pa., Marjorie (Edward) Kline and Gladys (Jack) Mickle, both of Linesville, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Poux and Betty Agnew.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethel Church of Christ in Ada and was a church greeter. She also was on the Prayer Committee and Regular Missions Committee. She was formerly a Cub Scout leader.
Memorials may be made to the church and/or the Ada Public Library.

He was married to Mary Jane Hastings and she survives.

Funeral services for Sanford "Sam" Watkins will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton. Burial will follow in Fairview McDonald Cemetery, with military graveside rites by Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a military memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday by Amvets Post 1994.
He died Sunday morning, May 18, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Alger to Newt and Myrtle (Cline) Watkins. On June 12, 1954, he married Patricia Horner and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a daughter, Vicki (Bill) Miller of Kenton; two sons, Lee (Jody Camper) Watkins and Wayne (Jody) Watkins, both of Kenton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Madge Alberts of Elizabethtown, Ky.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He retired from Durez.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Kenton Eagles Lodge, Amvets Post 1994 and a life member of VFW Post 3333. He sponsored Sam’s Softball team for 17 years.
