Graveside services for David A. Augenstein will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, by the Rev. Charles Steward.
There is no visitation.
He died at 7:54 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, in the emergency room at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
He was born July 25, 1941, in Marion to the late Walter B. and Nell C. (Porter) Augenstein. He married Joy E. Lyon on Aug. 7, 1965, and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
He is survived by three nieces and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Augenstein, a sister Mary Lou Smith and an infant sister.
He retired from Centrex in Findlay as quality control manager and had also worked at Swan Rubber Co., Bucyrus. He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1959.
A United States Army veteran, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post 225, Upper Sandusky. He had attended St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Clay

Services for Richard Clay will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton by the Rev. Scott Johnson. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton with graveside military services conducted by Kenton Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday.
He died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Logan County to Karl J. and Cora Mae (Wren) Clay. He married Gladys Rader and they divorced.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon (Tony) Keehn of Hamler, Barbara Roof of Kenton and Nancy Clay of Columbus; a son, James R. (Marcia) Clay of Forest; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a sister, Louise Otto.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Joseph and two sisters, Dorothy Jackson and Mary Helen Walworth.
He was a retired livestock dealer. He graduated from Marseilles High School.
A veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, he was a member of the American Legion Post 83 at Sandusky and a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He lived in Tiffin for several years before returning to Kenton to live.

Services for Sandra K. Elwood will be 11 a.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home in Dunkirk by Pastor Steve Umphress. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery.

She died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
She was born April 3, 1943, in Kenton to Norman and Eileen (Wren) Price. Her mother survives in Arlington.
Also surviving are four daughters, Angel (Don) Hanf of Findlay, Shari (Keith) O'Brien of Arlington, Wendy (Mike) Dill of Kirby and Tammy (Donny) Simon of North Baltimore; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a sister, Judy (Ken) Schlatter of Forest.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She retired from Blanchard Valley Hospital in 1994 after working there for 16 years as an admitting clerk.
She was a member of the Blanchard River Church of Christ.

Frazier

Services for Raymond Franklin Frazier will be 1 p.m. Friday at Gassaway Baptist Church in Gassaway, W.Va., by the Revs. Paul O'Gorek and Rick Hart. Burial will be in Chrisman Cemetery.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home in Gassaway.
He died Thursday, May 15, 2008.
He was born Sept. 5, 1933, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to C.R. and Pearl Frazier. He married Wilma Jean (Clowser), who survives in West Union.
Also surviving are two sons, John H. (Kim) Frazier of Orlando, W.Va., and Michael Lee (Joy) Cundiff of Vienna, W.Va..; a daughter, Susan Thayer of Orlando, W.Va.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Ray G. (Evon) Frazier of Elizabeth, W.Va.; and a sister, Anna Jane Cutlip of Massillon.
He graduated from Wirt County High School and then went on to graduate from Glenville State College and West Virginia University. He worked as a classroom instructor for the Wirt County schools and then as principal at Gassaway High School and Braxton County High School. He later was county superintendent of the schools.
He also worked as principal at Pennsboro High School and K-12 principal at Circleville School. He retired as county superinten- dent from the Doddridge County.
After retiring he moved to Hardin County where he worked for the Hardin County Board of Education and as the K-12 principal at Hardin Northern.
He was also a member of the 32 degree Mason of Wirt Lodge No. 82 along with a member of the Ohio State Teachers Association, West Virginia State Teachers Association and American Watchmakers Institution.

He died at 1:10 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at his home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Kyger in Gallia County to Floyd and Ina S. (Lemley) Rife. On Dec. 14, 1946, he married Mary Jane Hastings, who survives.
Also surviving are two nieces, Jane (Ira) Butcher of Florida and Glenna Lou (Roger) Lowmaster of Ridgeway; a nephew, Jim (Polly) Hoyt of Florida and a special friend, Steve Cornwell of Carey.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Hoyt and a brother, Carlos Burdell Rife.
He retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad in 1983.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946 and a life member of the American Legion Post 344 at Carey.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Carey.
He was also a member of the Carey Conservation Club and the Hardin County Coonhunters Club.

She died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
She was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Zanesfield to Ivan and Esta Outland King. On Aug. 25, 1944, she married Arthur B. Porter in Bellefontaine. He died Jan. 5, 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Penny (William) Hudson of Kenton; a niece, Nancy (Mark) Gray of Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren, Kate (David) Gross and Liz (Jim) Baumhackl and a great-grandchild, David Gross.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Porter and three sisters, Dorothy King, Helen Houser and Donna King.
She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm.
She was a member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church and she was a graduate of the 1939 class of Zanesfield.
