Kenton
Services for Maxine Ramge Lichty will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Kenton by the Rev. Scott Johnson and Pastor Chuck Zweizig. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. today at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton or one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
She died at 12:32 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at her home in the Blanchard House in Kenton.
She was born July 16, 1921, in Hardin County to Dow and Mamie (Terry) Ramge. She married John F. Lichty on July 19, 1942, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Kenton. He died Dec. 15, 2000.
Surviving are a son, John Peter (Jo Ann) Lichty of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Patricia (Ralph) Smith of Hilliard and Cynthia (Jim) Troqus of Powell; four grandchildren, Tiffany (Brett) Zeigler-Amos, Tim Zeigler, Alicia Lichty and John Adam Lichty and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Amos and Cameron Amos.
She was preceded in death by a brother, DeWayne Ramge in 1987 and a sister, Marjorie E. Jackson in 2005.
She was a homemaker and a 1939 graduate of Kenton High School. She was also a 1942 graduate of Bliss College.
She was a member of the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Kenton and the Minerva Club. She was active in the Hardin Memorial Hospital Guild, where she was a past president.
She was also active in the Elks Bridge Club and the Hardin Memorial Bridge Club.
She volunteered for many years at Hardin Memorial Hospital and was a past president of the Oak Ridge Condo Association.

Services for Lawrence Wright will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor Mark Bayliff and the Rev. Rick Mason. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and until time of services Thursday.
He died at 6:43 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima.
He was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Floyd County, Ky., to Harrison and Lula (Whitaker) Wright. On June 26, 1959, he married Betty (Wireman) Wright and she died March 22, 2000. He then married Ruth Hackworth Wright on April 16, 2001, and she survives in Lima.
Also surviving are a son, Jim Wright of Columbus; a daughter, Janice (Jerry) Davis of Columbus; a step-son, Bill Parrigan of Brooksville, Maine; five step-daughters, Deanna Daniel and Aleta (Rick) Mason, both of Lima, Clio Parrigin and Junaita (Dennis) Akers, both of Sarasota, Fla., and Cora Busch of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Lonnie (Evelyn) Wright of Ada; a sister, Irene Caudill of LaFayette; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and five sisters.
He was a machinist at Ohio Steel Foundry/Teledyne of Lima for 39 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II. Lawrence attended Union Chapel Missionary Church in Lima. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 370 of Lima.
