Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Auglaize United Baptist Church in Maysville by Pastor Bill Prater. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Alger and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
She died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Van Wert Manor in Van Wert.
She was born Jan. 7, 1930 in Van Wert County to Elvin and Clema (Ashbaugh) Thatcher. On Oct. 10, 1952 she married Orville Prater and he died July 31, 2002.
Surviving are a brother, Floyd (Rosemary) Thatcher of Middle Point and two sisters, Marilyn (Charles) Jones of Antwerp and Annabelle Johns of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Thatcher, Glenn Thatcher and Charles Thatcher.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Auglaize United Baptist Church, Maysville.
