Services for Truman Donald Turner Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rehobeth Church in Waterloo by Pastor Henry Hatfield. Burial will follow at the Rehobeth Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Friends may call 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the church and a Masonic Service will be conducted by the Waterloo Lodge 532.
He died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012.
He was born Sept. 23, 1936 in Scioto County to the late Truman Roy Turner and Maud (Andre) Turner. He married Janet Jacobs on June 10, 1956 and is survived by his wife of 56 years.
Also surviving are his children, Sheryl (Randy) Schar of Ashland, Sue (Ralph) Ingles, Donald Turner and Douglas (Kim) Turner, all of Waterloo; grandchildren, Phillip (Jill) Schar, David (Liz) Schar, Cassie (Andrew) Stumbo and Joshua Turner; a great-grandchild, Charlie Schar; sisters, Iona Stansbery, Helen (Leo) VonDerau and Juanita Arnold; a sister-in-law, Annabelle Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Turner and Ralph Turner and a sister, Myrtle Oliver.
Truman was a retired farmer of Waterloo, Ohio.
He attended Rehobeth Church in Waterloo and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Marseilles 515 and Waterloo 532.
Truman was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother.
