Services for Virginia M. Smith will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Kenton.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday.
She died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.
She was born Nov. 4, 1928 in Kenton to Mary Erdine Johnson. On Feb. 19, 1949 she married Noel W. Smith and he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy (Rick) Newland of Kenton and Peggy (Dan) Gibbs of Bellefontaine; four sons, Larry Smith, Steven (Joy) Smith and Michael Allen Smith, all of Kenton and Randy (Jean Ann) Smith of Clarkston, Wash.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Smith; a grandson, Larry Smith Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Smith.
She worked at Scioto Sign and North Electric.
