Officers received a report of a shoplifting from Ace Hardware. Upon viewing the surveillance video, the suspect was observed removing a welding unit from a store shelf and leaving the store without paying for it. The suspect, identified as Stoney J. Shough, address unknown, was later arrested for petty theft.
Jackson C. Smith, Harrod, was stopped at a stop sign facing west on West Columbus Street at the intersection of Market Street when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Whitney L. Craig, 305 E. Carrol St. Craig was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Rickie L. Tillman, 627 Robinson Ave., was cited for non-compliance.
A breaking and entering was reported at 309 N. Glendale St.
Vandalism was reported at 315 N. High St.
Reckless operation was reported entering Kenton from the west on Ohio 309.
A domestic dispute was reported in a vehicle at Wayne and Espy streets.
A theft from a shed was reported at 425 Vine St.
A large tan dog was reported loose on East Franklin Street near the hospital.
Two small dogs were reported running loose in the area of Lynn and Railroad streets.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of North Market Street.
Three suspicious females were reported by a garage in the 700 block of South Main Street.
A domestic situation was reported at 323 1/2 E. Franklin St.
