Police Reports: May 11, 2012

Kenton police
Rachael McGrath, 814 King St., was arrested for domestic violence.
Tia Reffner, 3526 U.S. 68, Dunkirk, was eastbound on East Columbus Street approaching the Jacob Parrott Boulevard intersection, while Deborah Hayter, 388 E. Forest Road, was northbound on Jacob Parrott Boulevard approaching the same intersection. Hayter proceeded into the intersection, failing to properly observe the stop sign posted, striking the right side of Reffner’s vehicle. Hayter was cited for a stop sign violation.
Anthony L. Taylor, 15657 Ohio 309 E., was northbound in the 300 block of South Henry Street, while Robert L. Buroker, 615 S. Main St., was stopped at the stop sign on King Street at the intersection of Henry Street. Buroker failed to yield and started to cross South Henry Street, colliding with Taylor at       the intersection. Buroker  was cited for a stop sign violation.
The unknown driver of a vehicle was eastbound in the 100 block of West Franklin Street approaching the Main Street intersection, while Betty Jo Holland, 398 E. Forest Road, Apt. 73G, was also eastbound in the left turn lane on Franklin Street waiting on traffic. The unknown driver swung the vehicle wide when making a right turn from Franklin Street, side-swiping Holland. The driver then drove away and was not found.
Tangia A. Ellison, Upper Sandusky, reported domestic violence by a known suspect while at 338 Letson Ave.
A dog running loose was reported in the 300 block of South Main Street.
A suspicious female was reported at Auto Zone, 307 W. Franklin St.
A possible phone scam was reported at 440 Vine St.
An individual was reported shooting cats in the area of the 400 block of Kuert Ave.
Reckless operation was reported coming into Kenton from U.S. 68 North.
A possible domestic disturbance was reported in the apartments above Jimmy’s Pizza on West Franklin Street.
Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 335 W. North St.
Phone harassment was reported at 411 N. Detroit St.
Hardin sheriff
Christy Curtis, 211 N. Buckeye St., Dunkirk, reported a known suspect walking past her house  and coming onto her property, looking for her husband’s live trap ever since the suspect’s cat was allegedly caught in the trap. Curtis said on May 6, the trap was moved from the northwest corner of the house and thrown into the fish pond. The suspect denied being on the property.
William Clark McCrary, 209 Hunsicker St., McGuffey, reported the theft of medication from his residence.
Earl E. Conley, 105 East St., McGuffey, reported a fight occurring at 200 Main St.
Nathan Marsh, 13874 Ohio 81, Dunkirk, reported harassment and assault at 2121 CR 135, Dunkirk.
