Bev Parr, 709 Smith Ave., reported the theft of several items from a residence at 410 Scott Ave.
Stephen C. Davis, 625 W. North St., reported an unknown person keyed and scratched both sides and the rear of one vehicle and kicked the driver’s side of another vehicle while parked at his residence.
Loretta Davidson, 655 East St., No. 2, reported accidentally leaving her wallet on a picnic table at Dairy Queen, 840 W. Lima St. It was later discovered that someone had turned the wallet in to the Dairy Queen employees minus approximately $50 cash in the wallet.
A suspicious person was reported in the area of Barron and East North streets.
Possible gunshots were reported in the area of the 800 block of West North Street.
A suspicious vehicle was reported leaving the Village Pantry.
An accident was reported just south of the city limits on Ohio 31.
A crash involving a parked car in front of the city building was reported.
A possible injury accident was reported at Bales Road and County Road 175.
A customer was reported using a stolen card at Save-a-Lot.
A fight between juveniles was reported at Espy Elementary School.
Hardin sheriff
Mark W. Bradley, 3395 TR 185, Forest, was traveling east on Ohio 81 just east of the intersection of CR 175 when a raccoon entered the roadway. Bradley swerved to miss the raccoon, crossing into oncoming traffic until striking the bridge rail. He then bounced off the rail and reentered the roadway until crossing into the eastbound lane of travel and continuing on across the roadway until striking the bridge rail on the south side of the roadway. Bradley was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
A truck driven by Ronald F. Harsh, Harrod, was observed pulling out of an access road at the county garage with a bed full of scrap metal. Following investigation, it was discovered Harsh took a piece of I-beam from the garage. He was given a summons for criminal trespassing.
Chris Dunlap, 203 Alice St., McGuffey, reported menacing by a known suspect in the 500 block of Courtright Street, McGuffey.
Jessica Johnson, 403 Hunsicker St., McGuffey, was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control after she struck loose gravel and rolled her car into a field on County Road 90.
Dominic Purnell, 303 W. Taylor St., Mount Victory, was traveling northbound on County Road 175, when he was stuck by a vehicle driven by Vaughn Collins, 23231 TR 126, Kenton at the intersection of Bales Road. Collins was cited for a stop sign violation.
Andrew Emerine, 11589 Ohio 81, Dola, reported the theft of two laptop computers which belonged to Hardin Northern Schools.
