Three placed on control

Two Kenton men were recently placed on community control after being found guilty of breaking and entering charges.
According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Anthony William Rettig, 819 W. North St., and Daniel L. Mabrey, 603 S. Detroit St., also were fined $100 and also given 80 hours of community service.
In another recent case, Byron Osborn, 205 Alice St., McGuffey, was found guilty of petty theft. He was placed on community control for one year, fined $100 and ordered to pay restitution to the Alger Fire Department in the amount of $350. Osborn is also to have no contact with the fire department and is to perform 75 hours of community service.
