The 4-H Dog Show was held during the weekend at the 2012 Hardin County Fair.

Showmanship champions
Shelby Hazelton (left) with Lulu took the grand championship award in showmanship at the 4-H Dog Show on Saturday at the Hardin County Fair. She also won a first place trophy for showmanship. Gabrielle Weaver with her dog, Jake, received reserve champion in showmanship and first place in Junior A showmanship. Shelby is the daughter of Chad and Jamie Hazelton of Ada. Gabrielle’s parents are DeWayne and Melissa Taylor of Kenton. Both are members of the Hardin County Tailwaggers.

Showmanship skills
Taylor Weaver with Akira received first place honors in showmanship at the 4-H Dog Show. She is the daughter of DeWayne and Melissa Weaver of Kenton and a member of Hardin County Tailwaggers.

Reserve champion
Samuel Brown and Morgan won reserve championship in obedience and first place sub novice B at the 4-H Dog Show. He is the son of Mike and Amyial Brown of Alger and a member of Pawsitive Attitude.

Novice B trophy
Emily Brown received first place in sub novice B showmanship at the 4-H Dog Show. She is a member of Pawsitive Attitude and the daughter of Mike and Amyial Brown of Alger.

Intermediate honors
Shelby Hazelton and Lulu won intermediate grooming and handling in the obedience competition at the 4-H Dog Show. A member of Hardin County Tailwaggers, she is the daughter of Chad and Jamie Hazelton of Ada.

Junior B prize
Nathaniel Brown with Shelby took showmanship honors in class junior B at the 4-H Dog Show at the fair. He is the son of Mike and Amyial Brown of Alger and a member of Pawsitive Attitudes.

Sub novice B award
Sydney Albert of Kenton with Joey captured first place in the novice B category of the obedience competition at the 4-H Dog Show. She is a member of Hardin County Tailwaggers and the daughter of Amy Albert and the late Jay Albert.

Best in obedience
Bailey Wagner with her dogs Tuff and Elwood won the grand championship rosette for obedience at the 4-H Dog Show. She also earned first place honors for graduate novice A and graduate open B. A member of the Hardin County Tailwaggers, she is the daughter of Cory and Carol Wagner of Mount Victory.
