Awards were presented to entrants for cattle shown at the Hardin County Fair on Wednesday.

First place junior

Cole McKinley finished with the first place trophy and ribbon in the junior dairy showmanship competition Wednesday. He is a member of the Mount Victory Champs and is the son of Shannon and Bill McKinley.

Clint Kitchen took the top spot with his dairy cow in the intermediate class of dairy showmanship. He is a member of the Hardin County Dairy 4-H club and is the son of Chris and Mitzi Kitchen.

Senior winner

Taylor Weaver, daughter of DeWayne and Melissa Weaver, finished first in the senior dairy showmanship competition Wednesday afternoon. Weaver is a member of the Goshen Youth.

Wyatt Daniels, a member of the Alger Junior Farmers, got the first place trophy and ribbon during Wednesday’s junior beef showmanship competition. Wyatt is the son of Brandon and Shelly Daniels.

Callie Daniels finished in first place in the intermediate class of the beef showmanship competition Wednesday. Callie is a member of the Alger Junior Farmers and is the daughter of Brandon and Shelley Daniels.

Austin Eibling, son of Ron and Julie Eibling, took home first place honors in the senior class during Wednesday’s beef showmanship. Austin is a member of the Hootenanies 4-H club.

Allison Underwood was given reserve champion honors in the Born and Raised in Hardin County steer show Wednesday. She is a member of the Hardin County Lads and Lassies and is the daughter of Holly and Luke Underwood.

Garrett Royer and his steer were named the market beef Born and Raised in Hardin County grand champion Wednesday morning following the competition. Garrett is a member of the Scioto Valley 4-H club and is the son of Rick and Brenda Royer.
