Taking grand champion honors in the two-crust apple pie division was Colleen Collins (left) of Kenton. The reserve prize went to Thelma Musselman of Forest for her apple pie scotch creation.
Sannah Hamilton (left), of Mount Victory, was named the grand champion for her peanut butter cups, while Sharon Ault, Kenton, took home a reserve championship rosette for her crocheted entry.
Janet Jones (left) won the reserve championship in the cookie crust division for her strawberry thin mint pie. Joan Berry captured the grand title honor for her peaches and cream creation.
McKenzie Rader, Rushsylvania, snagged a grand championship title with her cookie entries in the youth division of the arts and craft competition.
Linda Wuethrich (left) of Kenton was the grand champion in the cheesecake competition with her New York cheesecake with raspberry topping. Jennifer Tuttle of Forest, took home the reserve honors for her carmel cheesecake. The veggie pizza created by Sandra Cramer of Findlay won a reserve chamionship and Deb Giesey, Findlay, won a grand championship honor with her raspberry cookie entry.
Jack Whitmer, Kenton, is proud of his cookies which won the reserve championship honors in the youth division of the arts and craft competition.
Other fruit winners
Linda Wuethrich (left) of Kenton baked a cherry pie that earned the grand champion rosette in the two-crust any other fruit category during Pie Day Saturday at the Hardin County Fair. Barb McKeen of West Liberty took runner-up honors for her glazed pineapple pie.
Victoria Gieb, Bellefontaine, earned a reserve championship rosette with her keylime pie in the annual pie baking contest in the arts and crafts building. Janet Jones won the grand championship in the division with a peanut butter pie.
Lori Paul (left) of Kenton earned two grand champion rosettes pin pies. She won the baked in crust with nuts division with her Irish creme macadamia nut pie and claimed top honors in the fruit tart category with her sour cream tart pie. Jackie James of Kenton was reserve champion in the crust with nuts for her pumpkin streusel pie.
Recognized for their efforts in the veggie or dessert pizza category were Jim Holmes (left) of Kenton, grand champion for his tomato basil pie and Jodine McKinley Scott of Kenton, reserve champion for her sweet potato streusel.
Amanda Noascono, Forest, doubled up on championships with a grand champion for her cookie bars and another for her cupcakes.
The grand champion award in the one-crust, filling baked in shell without nuts went to Thelma Musselman of Forest for her lemon cake pie. Janet Jones of Kenton earned the reserve rosette for her lime coconut custard pie.
Deb Giesey (left) of Findlay earned the grand champion rosette in the two-crust peach pie division at the Hardin County Fair. Thelma Musselman of Forest received the reserve rosette.

Janet Jones, Kenton, won reserve honors with her lemon raspberry twist entry and a grand championship rosette for her lemon lime meringue creation. Lori Paul’s pineapple cream meringue pie won a reserve championship.
A reserve championship was earned by Maitlyn McLane in for her banana split pie in Saturday’s pie contest. Jaelyn Tuttle won a championship with her Sandies Pecan Carmel Cheesecake Pie. Dakota McClane was named a grand champion with her Oreo pie creation.
