Cattle exhibitors bring home honors

Fair entrants showed off their cattle Thursday night at the 2012 Hardin County Fair.

Allison Underwood, daughter of Holli and Luke Underwood, and her beef feeder finished as the reserve supreme champion Thursday. She is a member of the Hardin County Lads and Lassies. Allison stands with Lane Underwood.

Allison Underwood finished as the reserve champion beef feeder following Thursday’s competition. She is the daughter of Holly and Luke Underwood and is a member of the Hardin County Lads and Lassies. She stands with Demi Snider, queen of beef.

Hanna Hall finished as reserve champion with her shorthorn in Thursday’s competition. She is a member of the Liberty Bells and Boys and is the daughter of Stacia and Greg Hall.

Taylor Cronley, daughter of Dick and Angela Cronley, and her shorthorn took grand champion in the breed’s category Thursday. She is a member of the Country Timers.

Liam Preston received the grand champion beef feeder award during Thursday’s breed and beef feeders show. He is a member of the Alger Junior Farmers and is the son of Kristen Preston, Rodney Klingler and William Preston. Liam stands with Fair Queen Natalie Molk (middle) and Beef Princess Holly Wilson.

Callie Daniels displays her 1,334-pound steer which earned grand champion honors in the Junior Fair Steer Show Thursday night. Callie is a member of Alger Jr. Farmers 4-H club.
