Fair participants showcased many talents including baking, woodworking and crafts.

Grand creation
Michael Adams, Mount Victory, brought home a grand championship with his ceramic figurine in the fine arts show.

Peach crisp
The peach crisp entries for the pie contest were bested by the entry from Linda Wuethrich, Kenton. Second place in the category went to Thelma Musselman of Forest.

Two crust apples
The grand championship for two crust apple pies went to Janet Jones of Kenton and the reserve honor was awarded to Thelma Musselman of Forest.

Several honors
Bobbie Jean Bailey, Kenton, earned several honors in the antique contest at the arts and crafts building. She won a grand championship with a cigar box. Her high bottom shoes won the Best of Show award. A kitchen salt crock brought her a reserve championship.

Peachy pies
Deb Giesey, Findlay, brought home a grand championship rosette with her peach pie. Thelma Musselman, Forest, earned a reserve championship in the category.

Sole winner
Jodine McKinley Scott was the sole winner in the tart contest with her raspberry, almond and pear entry.

Toy plane
Thaiyer Nelson, Kenton, earned a rosette in the antique show by entering an antique plane toy. His mom, Tiffany Myers Nelson, lends a hand with a photo.

Historical entries
Mary Ann James, Kenton, hands a print of a proposed Civil War memorial which was to be built in Chicago in 1864. The memorial was not constructed and won a rosette at the fair with it nearly 150 years later. Sandy DIckson, Kenton, won a grand championship title in the antique comb category for her hair comb.
