Many creative fair-goers brought home ribbons for their entries.

Quilting entries
Samantha King, Forest, earned a reserve rosette for her quilt entry and also won a reserve title for her quilt block.

Triple threat
Lois Wetherill, Bluffton, snagged three grand championship titles at the arts and crafts com petition this week. She took top place with her embroidery entry, a Christmas stocking and a sewed activity book.

Wins both places
Jane Furbush dominated the knitting division of the arts and craft show when her vest entry took the reserve honors and a pullover she created earned the grand champion prize.

Winning smile
Madison Breakey, Kenton, was all smiles after her watermellon won a reserve championship rosette at the vegetable contest.

For the kids
Thursday’s dish day contest had a fun theme of Cooking With Kids. The top prize was Jackie James’ Kid Pleasing Potato Nugget Casserole. Second place was earned by Eden Cronley with a Chicken and Cheese Casadia. Jack Whitaker brought the third place winner with an Orange Creamsicle Smoothy and Tabby Richards won fourth place with graham cracker cookies.

Artistic entry
Linda Zeigler, Alger, caught the eye of the judge with her cross stitch entry of some bears and kittens. She went home with a reserve championship.
