Entrants of the horse show were honored with awards at the 2012 Hardin County Fair.

Skilled showman
A.J. Sorgen was selected as the 12-14-year-old showmanship winner of the county fair at Saturday’s horse show. His parents are Jeff Sorgen and Alicia Martin and he is a member of the Hardin County Wranglers.

Members of the 2012 Hardin County Horse royalty include: (left) Princess Erica Jacobs, Queen Jaycie Whitmore, King Ryan Shaw and prince Daniel Nash.

Memorial winners
The winners of the Al Martin Memorial Awards were Stephanie Sorgen (left) and Kade Stump. Sorgen won for sportsmanship and her parents are Alesia Martin and Jess Sorgen. Stump earned the Clover portion of the award. She is the daughter of Dana and Jackie Stump. Alisia Martin presented the award for her dad.

Grand showman
Kaylee Hooker was named the grand champion in horse showmanship. She is a member of the Hardin County Joy Riders and her parents are Wendy and Scott Hooker.

Pony winner
Cami Lowery was named the best in showmanship in the pony division of the beginner’s category. She is the daughter of Ron and Cathy Lowery and is a member of the Silver Creek Sliders.

Driving winner
Danielle Mouser earned a grand championship in the pleasure driving class of the horse show contest Saturday. Her parents are Eric and Denise Mouser of Ridgeway.
