Ada Senior Citizens plan trip to Van Deurzen Dairy

The first meeting in May for Ada Senior Citizens will be a road trip to visit Van Deurzen Dairy Farm in rural Alger at 2500 CR110.  Those interested in this trip should meet at the Ada Railroad Depot at 11:45 a.m on Wednesday, May 9.
The first stop will be for lunch at Ram’s Roost in McGuffey. The tour of the dairy is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The next regular meeting of the group will be at the Community Health Professionals building on Wednesday, May 23.
At the last senior citizens meeting, Dave Sawyers presented his power point program on the windmills at ONU.  Guest Ruth Brown had a painting of the windmills that she had exhibited at the Hardin County Fair in 2010.
Some of the members and guests took advantage of the toe-nail clinic offered by Community Health Professionals.
A number of items were collected for the Ada Food Pantry.
