Ada falls to Lancers

VAN WERT — Lincolnview broke a tie game with a run in the bottom of the fifth inning and then added eight insurance runs in the sixth inning on the way to a 14-5 win over Ada in a Northwest Conference baseball game on Monday.
The Bulldogs, who scored single runs in the first and third inning before crossing home plate three times in the fourth, received a pair of singles from Matt Gray.
Gray took the pitching loss.
Ada, 2-9 on the season, hosts Columbus Grove on Thursday.
