BL baseball bows out of sectional play

GREENVILLE — Greenville’s Jacob Burke tossed a no-hitter as the Green Wave defeated Ben Logan 8-0 in Division II sectional baseball action on Friday.
The host team put three runs on the scoreboard in the first and added five more in the fifth.
Dustin Bowers took the loss for the Raiders, allowing eight runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings on the mound.
At the plate, Bowers walked twice and was hit by a pitch.
Ben Logan finished its season with a 13-16 mark.
