BL girls drop CBC matchup

BELLEFONTAINE — Springfield Shawnee defeated Ben Logan 5-1 in a Central Buckeye Conference girls soccer match on Wednesday.
Lauren Oglesbee had the lone goal for the Raiders, who are now 4-5-1 on the season.
“It was a fast-paced game and both teams had several offensive chances,” Raider coach David Evans said. “They scored three times on set plays and that was the difference in the game. We need to relax and be more patient when we get the ball in our offensive end.  Until we do, we will struggle to score goals.”
Ben Logan hosts Mechanicsburg at 11 a.m. Saturday.
