Bulldog boys finish 8th in NWC meet

The Ada boys track team was eighth of 10 teams and the Lady Bulldogs were 10th of 10 teams at the Northwest Conference track meet at Crestview on Saturday.
Columbus Grove won the boys meet with 140 points, followed by Spencerville with 85 and Bluffton with 82 1/2. Ada, which received a first place effort from Ryan Allen in the shot put (49-10 3/4), ended up with 34 points.
The girls meet was won by Spencerville with 163 1/2 points. Bluffton was second with 113 points and Columbus Grove was third with 87.
Ada scored 25 points.
