Colonel Crawford shuts out Falcons

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Colonel Crawford scored nine runs in the second inning and then added the game-clinching run in the top of the fifth inning in a 10-0 win over Riverdale on Monday afternoon.
The Falcons, who fall to 4-8 overall and 0-3 in league play, were held to two hits in the game, both singles by Paul Frey. Caleb Shultis took the pitching loss.
Riverdale travels to Galion on Friday.
