Dunkirk 12U softball takes down Arcadia

FOSTORIA — The Dunkirk Bears 12U softball team defeated Arcadia 11-1 Thursday evening.
Getting the win in the circle was Shelby Alloway with 13 strikeouts and four walks.
Leading the Bears on offense were Selena McCoy with a grand slam, two singles and five RBIs, and Haylei Pees with three singles.
Also hitting two singles each were Madison Robson, Eden Craig, Ashton Dye and adding a single was Shelby Alloway.
The Bears (6-5) will be back in action for the third round of play in the Hancock County Girls 12U fastpitch tournament in Fostoria at 5 p.m. on Monday.
