MOUNT BLANCHARD — Host Riverdale defeated Marion Harding in three games 25-21, 25-22, 25-20 in a “Volley for the Cure” matchup on Thursday night.
For Riverdale, Brittany Wetherill was 5 of 7 serving with 5 points, 5 of 7 passing with 3 digs, 11 of 17 hitting with 3 kills and had 6 blocks; Taylor Farmer was 50 of 54 setting with 16 assists while adding 13 service points with an ace; Laura Renteria was 6 of 6 serving with 3 points, 5 of 7 passing and 1 of 1 hitting and Jordan York was 10 of 11 serving with 6 points, 10 of 10 passing, 13 of 16 hitting with 3 kills and had 5 blocks at the net.
Bre Pickett was 12 of 13 serving with 2 digs, 4 of 6 hitting with 3 kills and had 4 blocks; Sierra Vaughan was 10 of 13 passing , had 7 digs and was 3 of 3 hitting; Amber Beltz was 2 of 3 passing and had a dig.
Kyndra Halcomb was 7 of 9 hitting and 2 of 2 passing and Ashlynn Walter was 2 of 3 passing, 7 of 7 hitting and had 3 blocks.
