Frey’s goal lifts Falcons to 1-0 win over Elida

ELIDA — Taylor Frey’s first half goal stood up as Riverdale defeated Elida 1-0 in a non-league girls soccer matchup on Wednesday night.
The Falcons, who got an assist from Lindsey Cole, are now 5-2-2 on the season.
Bre Parish had 5 saves for the Falcons, who held an 8-5 shots on goal advantage.
Kristen Evans had 11 intercepts, Jenica Beck had 7 intercepts and Tiffany Wright had 7 steals.
