HN wins 2nd straight

DOLA — Jacob Gossard threw a four-hitter and Hardin Northern scored in five of the six innings it batted as the Polar Bears topped Arcadia 11-2 on Wednesday for their second win in two days.
Gossard allowed just one earned run while striking out eight batters and walking none to help the Polar Bears improve to 2-2-10 overall and 1-3 in Blanchard Valley Conference play.
Ethon Flowers was 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Brett Roby was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI to lead the Polar Bear hitting attack.
Also for HN, Austin Roby had two hits with a double and an RBI, Gossard had two hits and an RBI and Jacob Lozano had a hit and an RBI. Reed Poling also had an RBI.
