Included among the athletes receiving special awards at the Kenton High School spring sports program on Tuesday night were (front, from left) Jackie Stalder, Mackenzie Miller, Maty Mauk, Ashton Blackford, Demi Snider, Lance Taylor, Hannah Pitts, Nathan Hicks; (back) Morgan Goecke, Luke Abbott, Brice Fackler, Kasey Rawlins, Gwen Downing, Austin Edler, Dillon Kitchen, Collin Roll.
Kenton High School recognized its athletes that took part in baseball, softball, tennis and boys and girls track during its spring sports program on Tuesday night.
Baseball players that were recognized with senior awards were Brice Fackler, Luke Abbott and Kasey Rawlins. Rawlins also received the KHS Athletic Booster award.
Softball players receiving senior awards were Brook Ellis and Jackie Stalder. Both also received their fourth-year letter award.
Tennis players that took home special awards were Collin Roll, MVP; Dillon Kitchen, most improved player and Austin Edler, Booster award.
Seniors on the boys track team that were recognized included Nathan Hicks, Maty Mauk, Lance Taylor, Gabe King, Cody Thomas, Alex Laney and Nick Valerio. Mauk received the Booster award.
Hicks, Mauk and Taylor all received fourth-year letter awards.
Receiving senior awards on the Kenton girls team were Ashton Blackford, Demi Snider, Mackenzie Miller and Hannah Pitts. Snider was recognized with the Booster award.
Blackford and Snider also both received their fourth-year letter awards.
