KHS football team to recognized Friday

Kenton High School’s 2011 Division IV state runner-up football team will be recognized at Friday night’s basketball game against Western Buckeye League rival Wapakoneta.
The Kenton Athletic Boosters will present watches to each member of the football team and coaching staff between the junior varsity and varsity contest.
There will also be a special award presented by the Columbus Touchdown Club.
The Wildcats won their fourth straight WBL title this past season and finished with a 14-1 record.
