The host Kenton High School girls soccer fell to Findlay 5-2 in their final match of the Hogg Creek Soccer League season.
The Trojans jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Terrill Webb brought the Wildcats back into contention with a goal a few minutes before halftime. The second half saw an evenly played match with both teams having a number of scoring opportunities. Findlay stretched its lead to 3-1 but the Wildcats closed the gap shortly after when Kennedy Moore forced an own goal by a Trojan defender.
Kenton finishes the Hogg Creek season with a 3-5 record.
Playing with the Wildcats this summer was Abi Aldridge, Peyton Bell, Jessica Boone, Brooke Cannode, Kelsey Erwin, Sarah Heilman, Audrey Miller, Jenna Moore, Kennedy Moore, Angel Mullins, Logan Roby, Kylie Rosebrook, Terrill Webb, Ally Whitaker, Caroline Lombardo, Kylie Erwin, Kori Barrett, Taylor Gillfillan and Devry Moore.
