Little League: July 3, 2012

The second farm Dodgers defeated the Pirates 10-2 in the tournament Sunday afternoon.
The Dodgers were led by Trent Yoder who smacked a home run and two singles. Grady Baum had a home run and a single, while Parker Rarey, Logan Brown and Ethan Marshall chipped in with two singles each. Brent Rader and Ace Baum also belted homers while Connor Dye and Junior White both had singles.
Leading the Pirates was Isaiah Howie who had two base knocks. Picking up a single for the Pirates were Dylan Landsberg, Gavin Manns, Tyson Hopkins, Chris and Kayden Atchley, and Kasee Sanders.

The Dodgers came away with a 16-5 win in their second tournament game Sunday against the Yankees during tournament play.
Dodgers’ hitters were: Grady Baum with two singles and a double; Trent Yoder with a double and two singles; Brent Rader and Ace Baum with three singles; Parker Rarey with a double and a single; Ethan Marshall and Logan Brown with two singles each, and Hunter Taylor and Connor Dye with a single each.
Pacing the Yankee hitters were Malachi Freeman with a double and a single; Ben Sams, Kendyl Gibson and Zach Wedertz all with two singles each; Seth Leffler with a double, and adding singles were Shelby Tillman and Jarin Baker.

The Dodgers capped off their undefeated season Monday with a tournament final win over the Indians by a score of 14-6.
Leading the Dogers yet again was Trent Yoder who hit a pair of home runs and a single that totaled 9 RBIs. Ace and Grady Baum each smacked a homer and picked up two singles, while Brent Rader and Ethan Marshall hit for three singles each. Logan Brown hit two singles, while Zoei Wilson, Parker Rarey and Hunter Taylor all had a base knock.
Leading the Indians’ attack were: Alex Brightman who ripped a triple and two singles; Gunnar Stout who smacked a double and a single; Max Haushalter, Noah Ketcham and Kaitlin Heberling all hit two singles; Mitchell Jennings who reeled off a triple, and adding a single each were Cooper and Maddy McBride and Trevor Robinson.
Congrats to the Indians for their tournament run.
The champion Dodgers were managed by Richard Baum.
