MILLER CITY — Miller City scored twice in the first half and added three more goals in the second half on the way to a 5-0 win over Riverdale in a non-league boys soccer match on Tuesday afternoon.
The Falcons, who drop to 0-5-1 on the season, were outshot 8-4 in the contest.
Riverdale keeper Brandon Rall made three saves.
Jackson Lammers scored twice for the host Wildcats, while Ross Kaufman, Mick Lammers and Austin Lammers all got on the score sheet once.
Austin Lammers made four saves in net for Miller City.
For Riverdale, Chad Pever had 3 steals and 2 intercepts, Caleb Shultis had 2 steals and 4 intercepts, Nick Parsell had 2 steals and 3 intercepts, Nathaniel Hughes had a steal and 4 intercepts and Austin Clark had 5 intercepts.
Riverdale travels to Van Buren on Thursday.
