Rams sweep Vanlue

McGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley volleyball team defeated Vanlue in three games 25-15, 25-15, 25-15 on Tuesday night.
Ali Goldsmith was the Rams top scorer, tallying 17 points on 22 serves with two aces.
Setter Mary Winegardner had 12 assists and Aspen Rose had 13 kills on 33 spike attempts.
The Rams were defeated by Bluffton 25-20, 18-25, 25-22, 25-16 on Monday night.
Goldsmith was 18 of 19 serving with an ace and 9 points against the Pirates. Shelby LaRue was 10 of 11 on the serve with 2 aces and Rose had 15 kills on 36 attacks and added 7 blocks defensively.
Winegardner finished with 16 assists and 14 digs.
The Lady Rams, 6-4 on the season, travel to Fairbanks on Thursday.
