R’mont looking for girls hoop volunteers

RIDGEWAY — Ridgemont head girls basketball coach Jeff Merklin is looking for volunteer coaches to help continue to build the Lady Gopher program.
Volunteers are needed to work with the following groups of girls:  1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade.
The 5th and 6th grade teams are slated to play in leagues in Hardin County, as well as tournaments.
All volunteer coaches will be given general training in the coaching of youth sports, as well as age-appropriate practice and game materials.
