Soccer tryouts slated in Forest Posted on May 12, 2015 0 FOREST — The Riverdale Soccer Club will be hosting tryouts for open positions and the possible formation of new teams for the following age groups: U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14 for both boys and girls. Tryouts will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 20 at the Riverdale Soccer Complex, 350 West Dixon St., Forest. U9 and U10 tryouts will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m., U11 and U12 tryouts will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and U13 and U14 tryouts will be from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The tryouts will be a comprehensive testing of speed, skill, ball control, shooting and dribbling along with goalie skill assessment as well if any players are interested in that position. There will be informational forms filled out by parents/players for the assessment process. No positions are guaranteed by the tryouts. If a player is offered a position and accepts then following fees will be paid per season if the player chooses to play: U9-U10, $100 per season and U11-U14, $125 per season These fees do not include the price of jerseys for the player. There is no cost to tryout.
