Congratulations to Ralph Brim who scored a hole in one on Saturday. Using a five-iron he aced the 164-yard 16th hole. Witnessing the feat were his wife Nancy, Dean Brim and Judy Brim. Topping off the afternoon was the fact that his 38 on the front nine and the 35 on the back nine resulted in his best ever 18 hole score of 73.
Last week’s winner in the Tuesday afternoon senior league was John Connolly, with Duane Davis second and Dave Legge third. Larry Ramey continues to lead the league, but Legge has moved into second followed by Connolly.
Those of you who have visited the course since the Wednesday night storm know of the extensive tree damage that the course received.
The grounds crew and some volunteers have done a tremendous job of cleaning up a majority of the debris to prepare the course for the outings that were scheduled last weekend. We ask the patience of players while the cleanup continues.
Signup sheets and tournament information is posted at the course for the Red Cross Scramble on June 29 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
