SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — A convicted felon accused of killing an Ohio woman and her two children over the weekend is being held on a $3 million bond.
Erie County prosecutors said they’ll call a special grand jury later this month to consider formal aggravated murder charges against 41-year-old Curtis Clinton.
He’s accused of killing 23-year-old Heather Jackson, her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son. Their bodies were found in their Sandusky home Saturday night. Authorities believe they were strangled.
Clinton appeared before a Sandusky Municipal Court judge by video for an arraignment on Tuesday. He’s also accused of raping a 17-year-old girl on Sept. 3.
Clinton spent 13 years in prison after pleading guilty in 1999 to involuntary manslaughter in the strangling death of a woman in northwest Ohio.
