COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A prosecutor says two men accused in a shooting that left a 2-year-old girl dead and her parents injured in Ohio have been indicted on charges including aggravated murder.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says 51-year-old Norman Burke and 22-year-old Jaquon Poindexter were indicted on Friday on the charges that also include murder, attempted murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

The prosecutor says the suspects entered 2-year-old Amiyah Bice’s Columbus home Oct. 25 and robbed her parents. O’Brien says the child was killed and her parents were wounded in the resulting shootout.

Burke and Poindexter could be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole if they are convicted of all charges. Court records don’t list attorneys for the two men.
