USV evacuates building for bomb threat Posted on September 27, 2018 0 McGUFFEY — Students were evacuated from Upper Scioto Valley on Wednesday following a bomb threat which was found on one of the walls of the building. In a notice from the administration to parents, Superintendent Mike Kis assured the public all necessary precautions were taken and the school worked with the sheriff’s office to resolve the situation. “We do not believe there was any viable threat, but evacuation and search of the school was done to ensure the safety of everyone,” Sheriff Keith Everhart to the Times this morning.
