Kenton Full Gospel Food Pantry needs new furnace Posted on January 22, 2026 0 Pastor Anita VanBuskirk, with Kenton Full Gospel Church, is spreading the word that Kenton’s Bread of Life Food Pantry is at risk of shutting down and has started a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of an estimated $8,000 to $10,000 needed to replace their furnace. VanBuskirk said the pantry area, which has a separate furnace, has been inspected and they were told the heat exchanger is defective. For safety reasons, the furnace cannot be repaired and must be fully replaced in order for the Kenton Full Gospel Bread of Life Food Pantry to continue operating. The GoFundMe, at the time of the article, has raised a total of $410. The site is set at $10,000 and is intended to cover the cost of the new furnace. VanBuskirk said, “If we are not able to afford a furnace for the Food Pantry, we will not be able to continue operating the Food Pantry, especially during the winter months. This is not a decision we want to make, but safety and stewardship are responsibilities we take seriously. “If you feel led to help in any way, through a donation, sharing our issue, or praying with us, we would be deeply grateful. Every gift helps and goes directly toward keeping the Food Pantry open and serving families in our community. “Thank you for your understanding, your prayers, and your continued support. We are trusting God to guide us and provide during this time.” The GoFundMe link is listed below: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-kenton-full-gospel-food-pantrys-furnace-replacement?cdn-cache=0
