UW annual meeting set

The annual meeting of the United Way of Hardin County is set for Thursday, March 15 at the fellowship hall of St. John’s Evangelical Church, Kenton. Activities will begin at 7 a.m. with a continental breakfast, with the meeting to begin at 7:30 a.m.

Board to meet

The Hardin Country Board of Elections will meet at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 in its office in the courthouse to certify candidate petitions. In addition, the board will review the auditor’s report, approve the minutes of the Jan. 4 meeting and pay bills.

Liberty National Bank offers Welcome Home Grant

Ronald L. Zimmerly, Jr., President and CEO of Liberty National Bank, recently announced the bank’s participation in the Welcome Home Program, which is a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. The Welcome Home Program was designed to assist eligible homeowners with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.
