City appropriates $110,000 toward paving of U.S. 68 Kenton City Council approved appropriating $110,000 toward the resurfacing of U.S. 68 through part of the city in 2018 at its meeting Monday night. The action, approved as an emergency, came after the city was recently notified by the Ohio Department of Transportation of its plans to grind and repave U.S. 68 from Franklin Street south to the new International Paper warehouse. Plan proposed to fix storm drainage on city’s south side A proposed $320,050 project to resolve a storm drainage issue on Kenton’s south side was discussed at Monday night’s City Council session.
