UPPER SANDUSKY — An Upper Scioto Valley High School graduate was recently named the Professional of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio at its conference in Newark. Kathy Shepherd Grasz is the president and CEO of the Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce.

ALGER — Representatives from the Roundhead Township Trustees and Upper Scioto Valley EMS board will meet on Saturday, March 4 at 10 a.m. at the EMS building in Alger to discuss a potential new project, said Joyce Campbell, clerk of the USV Ambulance District.

Stockholders from Agland Co-op and Heritage Cooperative have approved the merger agreement between the cooperatives, it was announced Tuesday. Now begins the work of finalizing due diligence and the unification of policies, procedures, systems, and people progressing toward an effective date of Sept. 1, 2017.

There will be a Kenton records commission meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 in the conference room at the Kenton Municipal Building.
