There will be a Kenton Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at the Kenton Municipal Building. The board will review an application to rebuild at 518 N. Main St. after a fire recently destroyed the apartment structure.

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 in its office in the courthouse to certify candidate petitions. In addition, the board will conduct its regular meeting, review the auditor’s report, approve the minutes of the Jan. 3 meeting and pay bills.

DUNKIRK — Members of the Dunkirk Village Council, at Monday’s council meeting, learned just how busy the Northern Hardin County Fire District really is. Each year, Councilman Dan Marshman receives a year end report from the Northern Hardin County Fire District detailing the firefighters’ service to the village.

The Hardin County Board of Elections will be transferring data to disks at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 in its office in the courthouse.
