A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Wildcat Career Closet is set for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 in Kenton High School’s Media Center. The ceremony is in part hosted by the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance which has been a partner with the high school’s internship program.

The Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton, Ohio (HSLC) held its annual meeting on Sept. 24, 2018. David J. Schwemer was elected as HSLC’s Chairman of the Board of Directors. Elected as Directors were J. Thomas Stout, Holly A. Sinn-Bailey, Debra H. Doll, and Charles E. Dixon.

Instacart received an overwhelming volume of requests for expansion into this region and is excited to now be delivering to the Kenton area.

MOUNT VICTORY — The Ridgemont Board of Education approved permanent general fund appropriations of $7,409,000 for fiscal year 2019 at its meeting Thursday. That is an increase of about $121,000 from FY 2018, which had appropriations of $7,288,000, said Treasurer Fred Reinemeyer.
